Catbed days

Having the flu and being so ill with it has put an inglorious end to the 365, I haven’t picked up my camera for a week now, so it isn’t viable. I still don’t feel like doing photography either so my Mojo has taken a severe thwack. The walking thing is also not viable at the minute. Although I’m on the mend I’m not 100% better physically, and even less mentally. There’s a lethargy in my brain that doesn’t want to shift. Feels like my creative goals have been erased so I am in a strange limbo.
I am not a great TV watcher, but this past few days, being capable of little else except coughing or sleeping, have watched a fair amount of edumacational documentaries which at least kept my mind off how bad I felt. Skye has taken advantage of my incapacitation by making of me a human bed. Yesterday I managed to do some housework, and today I went to the shop, so tomorrow I’m going back to work, and in the evening going out to dinner with Phil and his sister & brother-in-law, in the hopes that acting normal will result in being normal.

I am much the same at the moment, and I don’t have a flu or virus to blame!
Mind all over the place, and totally lacking inspiration.
Glad to hear that you are well enough to go back to work. At least the cat enjoyed your time off!
    Best wishes, Pete.

Awww Fraggy, I really feel for ya…. I’ve been down that road ..both of those roads!!! I’m not sure which one I despise more. I sure hope u make it through work and then going out to dinner. Don’t push your self too hard, or …… you’ll be sick all over again. And that all the motherly advise I’m going to dish out today. Ps I’m so glad you have your Feline, they are the best (always). When your sick, I swear they know, and they try to comfort….in their own unique way:).

  4. Oh, this sounds awful. I’m glad you are on the mend, and hope that you are fully there sooner rather than later!

Get well soon. I picked up a cough and cold in York Minster in October. Took forever to get it to “just go away.” My kitty “helped” as well.

I’m so sorry. I hate being sick. Having Skye cuddle on you like that must be the silver lining, though. I have a ritual with Nola where she cuddles on my legs every morning. It’s the sweetest!

Skye seems a bit heavy, but also a tender companion. Sad that it evolved thus. But health is the priority so I am glad you were taking care of yourself in those days.
